Mojio is collaborating with Assurant to co-develop Pocket Drive , a connected vehicle solution for car dealers and their customers.
“Today’s announcement is yet another demonstration of the critical role of strategic partnerships in shaping the future of the automotive industry,” said Kenny Hawk, Mojio CEO. “In only 4 months, our collaboration has accelerated from investment, to concept, to pilot, and we are now ready to support industry adoption of Pocket Drive. We look forward to growing our strategic relationship with Assurant to usher in a new era of intelligent vehicle protection services.”
The Pocket Drive device plugs into a vehicle’s OBD-II port and communicates a wealth of insights via Mojio’s cloud platform to the Pocket Drive app. The app offers customers a wide range of features and integrated services that include a vehicle health report, maintenance manager and more.
“Pocket Drive makes vehicle ownership smarter, simple and safer for consumers,” said Chad Ammons, vice president of global strategy and innovation in Assurant’s Global Auto business. “With strategic alignment and complementary strengths, Assurant and Mojio are well-positioned to fuel a win-win scenario for dealers and drivers around the globe.”
