ZED Connect Inc, a leader in low-cost ELD compliance and data analytics solutions, has partnered with Pana-Pacific, a supplier of audio and electronics to Commercial Vehicle (CV) manufacturers, to sell their ZED ELD solution through the nationwide network of heavy-duty truck dealerships beginning in August 2017. The FMCSA-compliant ZED ELD, powered by Cummins, is available for $200 with no monthly fee, no contract and no hidden fees, said the company.
“With the ELD mandate quickly approaching, we’ve seen an increase in the number of requests for a low-cost ELD device, and ZED ELD fits this niche perfectly,” said Pana-Pacific President and CEO John Trenberth. “Our customers are part of our family, and we want to make sure we’re providing them with the best options for ELD compliant solutions — which is why we added the ZED ELD solution to our product mix.”
Pana-Pacific supplies audio and electronics for heavy-duty truck manufacturers, as well as the CV manufacturers of construction, school bus, emergency, vocational and transit vehicles. The dealerships representing this large cross section of the transportation market will now be in a position to offer their customers a way to become ELD compliant via ZED ELD for a $200 one-time cost with no monthly fees.
“Taking advantage of a no-monthly-fee, ELD-compliant solution is a wise choice for fleets of any size, particularly for small to medium fleets, whose businesses can be affected by any increase in operating costs,” said ZED Connect Inc. CEO Skip Kinford. “Pana-Pacific’s focus on the customers’ needs is why they’re the perfect partner for ZED ELD. We both feel that there is a place in the market for a low-cost, no-monthly-fee ELD-compliant solution, and are excited to provide this option to our partners’ fleet customers.”
